I have a 6 year old Eurasian dove who last night I found to have soft beak, she had the same condition two years ago which was spotted quickly and successfully treated with Zolcal D. This was before any deformity could occur, however this time her beak is curved on top and she is no longer able to eat independently. I feel awful for not spotting it sooner but have been ill fighting septicaemia and haven't been as vigilant as I usually am. Currently I'm syringe feeding her cornmeal porridge...
